The Ninth annual International Association for Intelligence Education, IAFIE conference is scheduled for Monday, May 20, 2013 - Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the Union Building, The University of Texas at El Paso, 500 West University Avenue, El Paso, Texas 79968, United States
The theme of the conference is: “Expanding the Frontiers of Intelligence Education”
According to the statement on the conference website, a number of notable speakers and presenters from the fields of intelligence, homeland security, competitive intelligence, and higher education have agreed to share their thoughts and best practices on these very important topics.
Vendors and sponsors are planning to have booths at the conference. The tools used to teach intelligence analysis will be prominently featured at the event.
This year’s conference will feature a series of panels between which participants may choose. The topics relate to the theme of the conference "Expanding the Frontiers of Intelligence Education" and will hone in on specific topics, from teaching denial and deception to ethics in cybersecurity education and everything in between. Through their choices, participants will individualize their conference experiences.
Our exhibitors will be sharing their expertise in the adjacent exhibit area Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We have a full and varied agenda, along with time to both renew old and make new acquaintances. Please enjoy your stay in the "Sun City of El Paso" and participate to the fullest!
The cost of the 2013 conference will be $250 for members and $400 for non-members, $100 for students.

Participation is open to to to the members of law enforcement agencies, Security personnel, private security organizations, academics: Higher Education managers, Graduate and undergraduate final year students who are studying the following courses (political science, security studies, emergency management,history and diplomatic relations and Journalism)
